GRETA EDITORES was established in Spain in 2003, with the clear objective of conveying the treasures and magic of Cuba through images taken by its best photographers.

The Cuban butterfly Greta , with its characteristic transparent wings, was the inspiration for the name and logo of the Publishing House.

Cuba 's people, history, landscapes; the exuberance of its flora and fauna and richness of its architecture are some of the themes the Publisher wishes to explore.

The first book published, solo DETALLES, brings us closer to the treasures of Havana’s architecture.

Its 326 pages beautifully illustrate architectural details which, at first glance, are only seen as part of the larger work but when examined more closely, reveal an individuality of grace and charm, details which convey texture and light captured in a single moment.

With excellent press reviews and notable commercial success, solo DETALLES was the 2004 recipient of the prestigious ESPACIO national prize awarded by the Cuban Association of Social Communicators.

The Orchids of Cuba.  Bilingual English-Spanish.  Unique images, never before captured, of Cuba’s beautiful yet little-known orchids, with accompanying details and up-to-date information.  Text by Juan Llamacho Olmos and photography by Julio Larramendi.
